About Us

We serve the mental health needs of children ages 8–18 through equine-assisted mentorship by providing a safe, zero-cost space for children healing from trauma to process emotions, build relationships, and experience Christ-centered principles.

Position Overview
The Volunteer Coordinator supports a nurturing environment for youth by managing internal volunteer operations and leading external community engagement. This role blends digital storytelling with traditional grassroots networking to build a compassionate support system, while remaining flexible enough to step directly into hands-on ranch operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • ●  Recruit & Retain: Source dedicated volunteers for animal care, property maintenance, and youth mentoring

  • ●  Onboarding & Training: Facilitate orientation and safety training programs

  • ●  Logistics: Manage scheduling calendars for individual volunteers and visiting work

    groups

  • ●  Supervision: Lead volunteer groups during on-site service and maintenance projects

  • ●  Operational Continuity: Help oversee daily ranch operations and maintain a leadership

    presence whenever on-site executive staff is out of town

  • ●  Direct Animal and Property Care Support: Step in to cover open animal care shifts,

    property upkeep, or mentoring needs

  • ●  Strategic Networking: Build partnerships with local schools, churches, businesses, and

    therapy providers

  • ●  Storytelling & PR: Drive public awareness via social media, word-of-mouth, and local

    advertising while maintaining appropriate participant confidentiality
